Reconciled Residual

The Reconciled Residual is the difference between the sum of the reconciled of all intakes and the sum of the reconciled of all out turns for balance elements.

For a successful reconciliation this residual must be zero or very close. If not, some parameters have been specified that do not allow the solver to reconcile. A common scenario of this: all streams into and out of a balance Element are metered and set up with zero tolerance, not allowing adjustments to the measured values.
